Our service has been founded with the goal of promoting physical and mental well-being amongst kids from an early age. We are backed by York Stars gymnastics that has been excelling at teaching young kids for over 20 years in the GTA community. It is our goal to offer you convenience and excellent coaching - all in one place!
Coach Athena has represented Canada on the national stage for over 10 years being crowned the Canadian Junior Champion in 2014. Her passion in teaching kids stems from seeing them get better.
“I enjoy working with kids and seeing the joy they bring to themselves and their families as they learn new skills. I love to facilitate such knowledge and accomplishment amongst kids especially at such a young age when they are setting the foundations for the rest of their lives. Through the Groovy Gym Bus Toronto, I am looking to coach kids in a fun environment and give them the confidence that will facilitate a willingness to take on new things as they grow older”
Throughout her life, Coach Rachel has trained in both artistic and rhythmic gymnastics and is now a professional dancer working in the entertainment industry. Rachel has been coaching children of all ages for over 6 years, helping them grow in skills and confidence. Working as a gymnastics coach, choreographer, and dance teacher, Rachel joined the Groovy Gym Bus Toronto Team to dive even further into kids gymnastics, now on wheels!
“My love for teaching kids has only grown stronger on the Groovy Gym Bus. I enjoy visiting new schools and working with kids to achieve the fundamentals of gymnastics with the utmost fun and excitement. The bus provides a focused and intimate atmosphere for me to able to work with each child individually and adapt my teaching style in a way that the child learns best. Through adaptive and progressive programming, we are always ensuring that kids are getting better as we see them week over week”

We also realize the importance of structured outlets that provide kids an opportunity to use their energy effectively while learning skills at the same time. Skills that will be useful to them across all aspects of their lives: self-confidence, motor skills, balance, flexibility, strength, teamwork and much more!
